Almost every page answering this question gives you a confident range with no working behind it. The figures below are our own, read straight from our live catalogue, so they move when our prices move. Where a cost is not ours to set — a town hall fee, a flight, a hotel room — we say so rather than guessing on somebody else’s behalf.
Our published packages
£3,735 to £13,459
Across 27 priced packages in 5 countries, with the middle of the range around £9,199. What moves you along it is mostly your guest count and your venue, in that order — not the length of the list of extras.

The same wedding costs different money in different places, and not always in the direction you would expect. These are our from-prices in each country we work in.

From-prices for our published packages, read live from our catalogue. A price range is narrow where we currently hold one venue in that country, not because choice is limited to one kind of day.
What a package price includes
- Venue hire for the ceremony and the reception
- The ceremony itself, with the local authority arranged for you
- A coordinator in the country, from enquiry through to the day
- The wedding meal and the drinks that go with it
- Table setting, linen and the core styling
- A rehearsal and a run-through with your suppliers
Exact inclusions vary by package and are listed in full on each one.
What no package includes
- Flights and transfersYou book these yourself. It is almost always cheaper than buying them through a planner, and you keep control of dates and airports.
- AccommodationWe recommend and hold rooms for you and your guests, but you pay the hotel or villa directly at their rate.
- Local authority and registrar feesPaid to the municipality or town hall conducting the ceremony, not to us. They vary by place and by day — we confirm yours in writing before you commit.
- Photography and videoIncluded in some packages, not in others. Each package page says which; we never leave it to be assumed.
- Décor beyond the core stylingOptional and itemised, priced individually so you can see what each thing costs rather than meeting it inside a bundle.
- Your dress, rings and honeymoonObvious once said, and routinely forgotten when couples compare a package price against a full UK wedding total.
Our lowest-priced weddings abroad
If budget is the first constraint rather than the place, start here. These are the real packages at the bottom of our range today — not a teaser price for a day nobody actually books.
Where the money actually goes
Guest numbers move everything at once
Twenty more guests changes the food, the drink, the seating and often the venue tier simultaneously. It is the single biggest lever on your total — change this before you start trimming details.
July and August carry a premium
Peak months cost more and are hotter. May, June, September and early October are the sweet spot on both price and comfort.
Saturday is not the only option
Weekday ceremonies can cost less at the venue and at the local authority. Your guests are flying out for several days either way, so the day of the week matters less than it does at home.
A villa can beat a hotel on cost
For a smaller party, taking a house for the weekend sometimes works out below a hotel package once accommodation is counted. Sometimes it does not — it is worth pricing both.
Can you pay monthly for a wedding abroad?
Yes — and without a fixed instalment plan to keep up with. Almost nobody pays for a wedding in one go, and we have never expected it. A deposit secures your date and your venue, and from there you pay towards the balance at whatever pace suits you.
A deposit secures it
Your date and your venue are held from that point. We put the figure in your proposal before you commit to anything.
Then at your own pace
No set instalments. A steady amount each month if that is easiest, or unevenly as money allows — there is nothing to fall behind on.
Clear before the day
The one firm date, confirmed in writing at the start so it never arrives as a surprise.
Booking early therefore does two things at once: it gets you the venue and the date you actually want, and it gives you more months to spread the cost across. The couples who find a wedding abroad most comfortable financially are almost always the ones who booked furthest ahead.
How paying for your wedding worksWhy we will not quote an average
Search this question and you will be given a single confident figure for “a wedding abroad”. Follow it back and there is usually no sample, no date and no note on what was counted — whether flights were in it, whether it was fifteen guests or ninety, whether it was last year’s prices. An average built that way is worse than no number, because it sets an expectation you then plan around. We would rather show you our real prices and name the costs we do not control.
Common questions about cost
- What is the average cost of a wedding abroad?
- We will not quote one, and we would be cautious about anyone who does. The averages circulating online rarely state what was counted, when, or across how many weddings. What we can tell you is what we actually charge: our published packages are listed on this page with their real from-prices, and the spread is wide because a wedding for twelve in May is a different proposition to a wedding for a hundred and fifty in August.
- Are all-inclusive wedding packages abroad really all-inclusive?
- Not in the sense most couples assume. A wedding package bundles the venue, the ceremony, the coordination, the meal and the core styling into one price — which is genuinely useful. No package from any planner includes your flights or your guests’ accommodation, and most do not include the local authority fee. When a competitor advertises "all inclusive", that is what they mean too.
- Is it cheaper to get married abroad than in the UK?
- For most couples, yes — largely because a wedding abroad tends to be a smaller wedding, and Mediterranean venue and catering costs sit below comparable UK venues. The caveat we always give: flights and accommodation are a real cost for you and your guests even though they never appear on your invoice. Count them before you compare.
- What is the cheapest way to get married abroad?
- Fewer guests, a shoulder month, a weekday, and a venue that does not need transforming. In that order. Couples who cut the décor first and the guest list last usually end up paying more for a day they enjoy less.
- Do you include flights in your wedding packages?
- No, and we would advise against any package that does. You will nearly always find the same flights cheaper yourself, and bundling them removes your ability to choose your airport, your dates and your luggage allowance. We tell you which airports serve the venue and leave the booking to you.
- Can you pay monthly for a wedding abroad?
- Yes, and without a fixed instalment plan. A deposit secures your date and your venue, and from there you pay towards the balance at whatever pace suits you — a steady amount each month if that is easiest to budget, or unevenly as money allows. The one firm date is the one by which the balance has to be clear, which is before the wedding and which we confirm in writing at the start.
- Is there a fixed payment schedule to keep up with?
- No. There is no schedule of set instalments, so there is nothing to miss and no month where a particular figure has to leave your account. Paying in stages is an option we offer rather than a structure you are put into — some couples clear the balance a year early, others pay a little at a time until shortly before the day.
