Cyprus · Costs

What a Cyprus wedding really costs

Our own prices, what sits outside them, and the costs couples only find out about later. No estimates borrowed from anyone else.

Most pages answering this question quote a range with no working behind it. The figures below are our own — pulled live from the packages, venues and décor we actually sell, so they move when our prices move. Where a cost is not ours to set, we say so rather than guessing on the municipality’s behalf.

Our Cyprus packages

£9,500 to £10,900

Across our 7 published Cyprus packages. What moves you along that range is mostly your guest count and your venue, in that order — not the length of the list of extras.

See every package and its price

What the price includes

  • Your venue hire for the ceremony and reception
  • The ceremony itself, with the municipality arranged for you
  • Your dedicated coordinator, on the island, from enquiry to the day itself
  • Wedding breakfast and the drinks that go with it
  • Table setting, linen and the core styling for your day
  • A rehearsal and a run-through with your suppliers

Exact inclusions vary by package and are listed in full on each one.

What it does not

  • Flights and airport transfersYou book these yourself, which is almost always cheaper than buying them through a planner.
  • Accommodation for you and your guestsWe recommend and hold rooms, but you pay the hotel directly at their rate.
  • Municipality feesPaid to the local authority, not to us. They vary by municipality and by day of the week — we confirm yours in writing before you commit.
  • Photography and videoSome packages include it, others do not. It is always stated on the package, never assumed.
  • Extra décor beyond the core stylingOptional, itemised, and priced individually so you can see exactly what each thing costs.

Guests

The biggest single lever

Numbers drive catering, seating and often the venue tier at the same time. Change this before you start trimming anything else.

Four things couples wish they had known

Guest numbers, not the venue, drive most of the cost

Adding twenty guests moves the food, drink, seating and often the venue tier all at once. It is the single biggest lever on your total.

Peak season carries a premium

July and August cost more and are hotter. May, June, September and early October are the sweet spot on both counts.

A Saturday is not always the cheapest choice

Weekday ceremonies can cost less at the venue and at the municipality. Your guests are flying out either way.

Your dress, rings and honeymoon sit outside all of this

Obvious once said, routinely forgotten when couples compare a package price against a UK wedding total.

Why we will not quote a national average

You will find plenty of pages confidently stating what “a Cyprus wedding” costs. Follow the figures back and they are almost always marketing copy with no methodology behind them — no sample, no date, no note on what was counted. We would rather show you the prices we actually charge, tell you plainly what is not in them, and confirm the rest with the municipality for your date.

Common questions

Is it cheaper to get married in Cyprus than in the UK?
For most couples, yes — largely because a destination wedding tends to be a smaller wedding. Cyprus venue and catering costs are lower than comparable UK venues, and our packages bundle the venue, ceremony, coordination and wedding breakfast into one figure. The honest caveat is that flights and accommodation for your guests are a real cost, even though they are not on your invoice.
What is not included in your Cyprus wedding packages?
Flights, transfers, accommodation, municipality fees, and any extra décor beyond the core styling. Photography is included in some packages and not others, and the package page always says which. We would rather tell you this up front than have it appear later.
Do I pay the Cyprus municipality separately?
Yes. Marriage fees are paid to the municipality that conducts your ceremony, not to us. They vary by municipality and by timing, so we confirm the current figure for your date in writing before you book anything.
Can I pay for a Cyprus wedding in instalments?
Yes. Couples typically pay a deposit to hold the date and venue, then spread the balance over the months before the wedding. We set the schedule out in writing at the start so there are no surprises.
